reason simple... money. sports different here in everywhere else. sure it's money everywhere, it's money here. if team crapy... matters money team brings in. everywhere else want product on field plus money can bring in. that's because better teams more money... in every team has same amount of money , there things salary cap put in place prevent teams dominating decades. so, doesn't matter if team has owner speed $1 billion on players or if owner can spend $1 million. plus, revenue sharing equal @ professional level.

not mention tv channels not pick games on regular basis because there no advertising opportunities. in football play 3-4 hour game chance commercial break every 2-3 minuets , commercial breaks last 1 2 min. in length.

in soccer play 45 min. advertising opportunities @ minimum, there 15 min. half time spend 10 of minuets talking game , other games have happened or happen... 5 min. of advertising time, second half starts , it's 45 min. of non stop action advertising opportunities @ minimum, , end of game comes. come post-game show of losing teams tv supporters change channel because don't care because team lost, , half of winning teams tv supporters tune out because of simple fact game on , have other things do.

so, put, number of fans watch games on tv, , limited advertisement time available during game no 1 in states see benefits of broadcasting soccer on other shows.
