I'm freaking out over a painful red/purple thing on my 'down stairs'...?

past week have had super painful thing on 'down stairs' part. way, i'm girl. anyways, red purple in middle. nothing popping out (like pimples do) 100% growing every day. every day gets more painful, more noticeable (for me), , more painful walk because right leg moves walk. i'm freaking out because i'm thinking tumour or something. can't touch without hurting *****. have tryed looking @ pimple. i've tryed opening , popping (didn't work plus way painful), i've washed area face wash many times (didn't help), , i've tryed putting pimple cream doctor has given me (again, didn't work).
please, me... need gone, hurts way much!!!!!!!
