Would you recommend booking travel before receiving your passport?


have found deal edinburgh reykjavik , dad giving me money holiday in fortnight , plan send passport application away too. first passport take full 6 weeks come back.

plan go away 21st in june parents said they'd treat me first holiday 21st.

if send application away say, middle of march, ok book holiday while waiting on passport coming back? part of me thinks ok because 3 months away , takes passport come according glasgow's passport office 8 weeks don't wanna in case mucks somehow. don't wanna miss great deal have found.
