Vocal/ Singing Lessons!?

hello, want learn how sing. know i'm not @ singing @ 0, nothing impossible in world if put hard work it. want know if vocal lessons help. not talking school cause in school teachers chorus choose voice first year in chorus class teacher put me in alto , next year new teacher put me bass. practicly choose way have sing , don't teach much. want learn how sing in type of pitch i'm more exited learning sing in high pitch. i'm guy way, , high pitch because favorite rockbands pierce veil & sleeping sirens , want sing vic fuentes (ptv) bad @ same time have own style. have been searching in internet personal teacher have got classes cause dont know if help. i've try learn myself watching videos "eric arceneaux" youtube still doesn't me cause can't find way control voice, i'm not deaf tone cause can difference highs , lows can't sing that's more simple. please give me tips of how can started. i've looked teacher online in takelessons.com & getlessonsnow.com. if take private lesson way have lessons not expensive how many times weeks. plz help! , thank you!
