Is Radeon 7870 ideal from gaming?


prefer nvidia, not huge fan of amd cause nvidia better comparison.

got new gaming computer..

msi z77a-g43 motherboard & drivers
3.5ghz intel, i7 3770k fast quad-core, ivy bridge, advanced, processor,
2gb nvidia geforce gtx 660 ti graphics card,
16gb ddr3 ram.

i'm building first ever pc scratch , know if radeon 7870 ideal gaming on 23" hd monitor. more exact asus vh232h glossy black 23" 5ms widescreen full hd.

graphics card on computer monitor. if not recomend me new one. thank you.
