Recycling, a waste of time?

find recycling wastes time. have have 2 different trash cans (one trash, 1 recycling) , have put stuff in right can. can take quarter of second more per instance if put in same can. quarter of second not sound much, can add up. throw away 40 things in day , that's 4 seconds. multiply 365 , you're talking 25 minutes year. not have kind of time prefer use watch tv or eat more kfc. other people have kind of time waste? recycling worth it?
