Volkswagen Polo problems? Jolting.?

purchased volkswagen polo auto 2002 1.4.(wish hadn't of!)

car has been causing me problems ever since day got it.

upon driving car home noticed car misfire , jolt! automatic car should not roll back! took garage put computer in , said needed oxygen sensor fit following saturday.
took garage saturday , phoned me saying different code has came relating gears into. nothing oxygen sensor. car bi polar!

awaiting phone call see if have figured out wrong it.

ideas causing this? getting rough idea how money need put aside!

problem scared me when started car other day started jugging , check engine light started flashing @ me. panicking got out of car. went car 5 minutes later , car fine! no warning lights! car makes me want cry !

it's safe may rid of car!
first purchased car has been nightmare!

if hadn't of gotten insurance box fitted car have been out of life now.
