General Thailand Information needed.?

background information:
>3 boys , 2 girls going thailand.
>all single , aged 25.
>going 10 days starting 8th of may.
>enjoy being kept active , entertained on peace , relaxation

information required:
>best locations , hotels stay in; bangkok, phuket , koh samui? looking @ between £20-£50pppn.
(so far thinking: near sumkivit road in bangkok. patong in phuket. chaweng in koh samui. need advice , against these 3 choices)

>what sites should visiting in these locations? (considerations given fact wish experience: nightlife, food, , places of interest. these places of interest being either natural (national parks etc) or cultural (temples etc).

>what format advisable have our currency in? precise best credit cards, travel cards, actual currency, mixture of 2 etc?

>what equivalent of our supermarket. can buy standard european foods similar here in them i.e. coke, crisps etc. in case need break thai cuisine.
