Can I play good games on windows 8?


pc core 2 duo 2.93ghz 3mb cache
ram 8gb
hard 500gb
vga nvidia 9600gt

have installed windows 7 ultimate , have played few old games devil may cry 4,xmen origins , prototype in full graphics mode.and have played new games black ops2,most wanted 2,war fighter in mid or low settings
question able play games if switch windows 8 enterprise.i know vga bit old enough me coz play games on mid or low , on high.will able play new games on mid or low or unable play games more after installation of win 8.will computer slow down or same before or faster.please in advance.
