How can I warm up before I stretch?


quickest , easiest warm doing jumping jacks, @ least 20, wakes whole body. them before stretching , 100-150 when i'm not stretching.

here stretches work on splits/flexibility. (the pics me , taken 4-24-12)

not suggest trying over-split until can splits. doing aerial before learned cartwheel. try not bounce when stretching, try keep straight , lean stretch nice , slow. don’t want rush stretch, may injury , it’s not beneficial in long run. not have push down them, may injured. straddle--lay on butt against wall. extend legs wall , let them fall straddle stretch gravity pull legs down (you can pull down on them them farther. hold long can. repeat few times. when doing normal stretching in straddle position, right before done stretching, lean forward middle , try pull through stretch. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-mhiil6ao... 1 straddle sit on butt facing wall , try close can wall , still in straddle position.
other splits--lay on back, bring leg chest, hold few seconds, extend it. grab leg , try pull close you can , hold it, repeat couple of times bending knee , extending it. on last extend, while holding leg, roll on splits. repeat on other leg.
these partner and/or solo---stand against wall, lift leg, have friend lift high can. , hold long can. both knees should straight. goal touch wall foot. repeat other leg. remember pull side heel stretch.
next lay on on ground , have friend push extended leg towards ground. same idea stretch above, works muscles in different way since in different position.
stretch splits (and arabesque penchee). need find blank spot on wall , grab chair. facing away wall , holding onto chair support, take leg , slide wall going splits. hold long possible switch legs. try keep legs straight. work stretch move chair closer wall until touching wall in vertical split.
next move doorway , work 1 leg or down frame depending on trying stretch. tried few doorway stretches first time , able put foot against door frame , got vertical split in needle (6’ oclock) position. link can see position i’m talking about. http://kittyscott.shutterfly.com/17055#1...
helped me stand , bend on doing standing pike stretch, choose leg , swing vertically far can 7 times , on eighth time hold leg high can (you in needle or 6 o’clock position @ point) , when let leg down try splits. repeat other leg.

heel stretch or pretty leg hold turn need able put chest legs in pike position. closer can body better look.

what exercises can warm body , muscles while stretching can improve flexibility more? "advanced" excersices. thank <3 best answer = 5 stars ")
