What are some room decorating tips?


i'm in process of redoing bedroom, , want crafts match it... know of guys super creative, , wish help.. i'm not super crafty, please don't make super duper hard :)

furniture: desk black, , side table... however, bed, dresser, bookcase brown.

decorations: have lot of hello kitty , 3 carpets

personality: i'm homeschooled, lot of school in room on either bed or chair, desk xd - in love hello kitty - trying rid of pink, keeps crawling in :p
