What is good internet connection for pc gaming?
seem kind of expensive. guess can depend on location.
$80/month gets me lol http://www.speedtest.net/result/25440777...
ping time takes > server > you, higher is, means there higher distance between you, isp, , server connecting to.
id 5-8 mbps download , 0.75-2 mbps upload considered normal/standard speeds.
edit: dang dan, thats huge copy/paste job xd
first off ping isnt number matters. @ all, means nothing. distance between , isp , isp , server.
same @ similar distances.
if getting 100ms+ pings, location of server far away you. , thats normal. if use things satellite internet/phone internet, has higher pings, since isp far you, has travel long distance isp server , back. having these types of connections ofcourse have more ping, since further distance.
"ping" when in games same thing, measuring time takes send data n forth. ping normally, when things ping google or using speedtest ping, ping 4bytes data, compared games sending 5-25kb/s.
, dont need "that" bandwidth gaming. games use 5-25kb/s of bandwidth download , upload.
if have 5+ mbps download, , 1mbps upload, have more enough never have lag in games. (depending on server hosted, , how data being streamed, , if else using connection)
right ping between 58-88 download speed 4.82 , upload speed .50. have feeling bad gaming i'm not sure. bill $60 month overpaying?
