because how laissez-faire economy works in real world. aim proffit , not worry negative externalities pollution unless forced public opinion of company (and people stop buying products), in comparison other companies, advertising cheaper fixing problem.

put melamine in milk , other foods, show higher protein content in order more money, sadly fact excess kills people less important profit. luckily in western countries there regulating bodies protect consumer somewhat, in there epa (that right wing extremist hate) protect human health , environment. in china agencies not effective.

environment wise? know sweatshops , cheap costs, in terms of pollution , chinese climate or space (geographically) why things made in china?
