Should all the states just become individual colonies again?

burnt out advertising executive decides has had enough of rat race & buys property way out west. no electricity, no phones - no company.
has read can &, after few weeks getting bit bored. 1 afternoon sees dust coming way in distance coming towards him, while later crusty old bushie gets out of battered holden ute , puts out hand.
"hello mate, i'm closest neighbour, live 20 miles road, thought we'd chuck ya bash welcome area"

"sounds awesome" says ad-man
"we tend bit punchie , horny 'round here after drugs & drink though, can ya handle yerself if blue kicks off or bit of sex on cards?"
