Want to check the status of State bank of india account not used by me last 2 years?

defination :
account in there has been no transaction 1 year considered inactive
,
account in there has been no transaction 3 years(two years) considered dormant. account in there has been no activity or written correspondence account holder 5 consecutive years considered abandoned property.

solution :
1)
if account kept unused 2 years, classified 'dormant'. if account being classified 'inactive', cannot operate through atm/phone or internet banking. reason bank systems not identify inactive accounts. so, customer has walk branch reactivate these accounts.

2)
can reactivate account walking branch withdrawal transaction using chequebook. can use internet banking id instruct bank pass re 1 debit , credit entries account. if account has been 'inactive' more year, have give letter activation of account signed each of account holders. required submit photo identity passport or driving licence each account holder. account holders (including joint account holders) need visit in person , take along them documents , chequebook.

note : if don't withdraw money or carry out transaction account through atm, branch or internet period of more year, bank terms account inactive.
