Which is safer for a first car, Jeep Wrangler or BMV Beetle?

jeeps lot safer you'd think. sit higher many cars if crashed going under instead of you. made of steel instead of plastic that'll keep safer (although it'll mess other car pretty good). rolling aren't bad have go around corners @ reasonable speed , you'll fine, plus if going roll car jeeps 1 in because has roll bar factory. overall jeeps aren't bad safety-wise beetles small , light feel crushed slightest bump

pro's , con's? i'm not huge speeder btw. safe driver. i'm used driving ford explorer , feeling of safety gives. love jeeps hear they're unsafe. love beetles seem small unsafe. input please.
