Can't figure out what size skate to buy.?


want decent pair of hockey skates , i'm paralyzed purchase because don't know size buy. went 2 different shops , gave me different answers. 1 said 7.5 , other told me 6.5-7.

wear 10.5-11 in women's shoes translates 8.5-9 in mens. i'm looking @ bauer vapor x5.0 skates , i've tried pair of 7.0s on in store...and toe hits end. doesn't "brush" end...it against end, not bent.

true skates can "stretched out" @ shop if small? best me go 7s though i'm worried them being little small...and have them stretched larger (or wait them break in)?

don't want buy cheap pair of skates i'm afraid spend more , wrong size. i'm pretty new skating , have been wearing low end pair of size 8s feet swimming in.
