Can rabies enter into human body without any scratch or lick?

56 days ago cat bite / nibbling in right leg (naked skin), did not found cut marks or scratch marks or reddish mark, after week did not found dead skin marks in leg, didn’t taken rabies vaccine tetanus shot taken, after friend suggestion went local pasture clinic, asked me cat alive or not? said yes, still alive , healthy, suggest me take tetanus vaccine only. still afraid, want know possible rabies transmitted me? there reports patient died of rabies biting dog/ cat alive? possible? possible rabid cat/ salivary infected (rabies) cat/ dog alive more 56 days?
