What is the wii u? How is it different from a regular wii?


wii u home console attaches tv same way 360 or ps3 , can output 1080p resolution display.

controller comes it, gamepad, 6" touch-screen controller 2 analog sticks, 4 shoulder buttons, d-pad, 4 face buttons, , other auxiliary buttons start, pause, select, home, etc.

wii u games uses both displays while playing, though (game depending) need use 1 or other play.

gamepad not have processing power of own , not meant portable gaming system 3ds. not function outside of 25-30' console.

games can digitally purchased on eshop (using internal or usb storage) or can bought on modified bluray media (similar wii , gamecube games modified dvd media.)

wii u can go wii mode, gamepad shuts off , wii, can play wiiware/wii virtual console games transferred on wii or bought on wii shop channel , play wii disk games.

wii remotes pair wii u in same way pair wii.

do play on tv or wii version of psp? sorry i'm not big game person not know kind of stuff im figuring out wii.
