Can i teach without any sort of degree?

teach privately not need prerequisites. "credibility" determined reputation guitar teacher. reputation determined on how competent guitarist , how @ teaching. word around whether or not guitar teacher.

though not need prerequisites give private lessons suggest take course work on how structure lessons, beginners. because know how play many styles doesn't make or competent teacher. teaching not showing student how something, "teaching" him how it. lose interest of many students if don't have teaching plan in place. course work i'm referring stuff teach "how teach".

there no penalties unless misrepresent yourself. example if said passed royal conservatory of music exams or took training @ schools of music sell end in legal trouble.

may need inquire obtaining business license since technically self-employed independent guitar teacher. need contact appropriate state department further details.

i've been playing guitar on 5 years. want start teaching don't know if there prerequisites private teaching. can listen , play , have understanding of many styles (blues, jazz, country, rock, flamenco). lack credibility guess
