Do engineering guys like girls in engineering?
attitudes towards women , each other different progress through school. in years people pretty indifferent towards 1 because of people meet during first year , half fail out of program (or college) or change majors. first 3 semesters intro courses (that doesn't mean easy though) general physics principles , schools lump engineering majors 1st 2 years me/civils (sometimes electrical) second, people meet along way , don't fail out in 1st 2 years split off specialized fields. if make third year surrounded solely me majors, , @ point treated 1 of guys. know have reached point when guys don't censor stories around you, , start making sexist jokes @ expense (in humor) women in engineering.
engineers in general aren't nerdy in sense of thick glasses, socially awkward, , anime (you find in cs classes though). nerdy in sense in later years make jokes using engineering language, or arguments each other mechanical devices/inventions/problems. when aren't working on homework , projects tend party, drink, , socialize hard (i found harder though) other college student.
if make later years, positioned 1 of few girls in class. amount of work in last 1.5 years enormous, , academic load can high 8-9 hours in class 5-9 hours studying. me majors typically tend study collectively, in major specific engineering computer labs (which can loud , social places), in 1 of females seeing of (literally more gfs) year , half of lives. male engineering majors find asking "is xyz getting hotter, or getting used her". anyway, in received, unless become 1 of blood sucking female engineering majors uses people hw done @ last minute, project work them, , them pass test. in case 4th year universally hated, , classmates screw @ last minute make sure don't pass final project, degree, , become embarrassment school.
luck :-)
i'm declared me major coming fall. plan take compsci , programming classes electives. should expect far guys go? ... tend "engineering" "nerdy" type of girls or inundated school care?
