Why are underwear on ebay so cheap?


have never used ebay, been using amazon purchasing needs. being said, have been looking buy underwear online friend told me can find them @ cheaper prices online going retail store. on amazon, nice underwear, can pricey. 40 dollars 1 pair. on ebay, have seen them cheap prices (4 dollars free shipping). granted, have never heard of these brands before, seem made. price, seems enticing. seems scam. ones cheap ship asian countries (china, malaysia), assume cheap because coming straight factory? don't know. if cheap, don't want throwing money away @ anything. scam?
