actually, that’s myth: ostriches not bury heads in sand! when ostrich senses danger , cannot run away, flops ground , remains still, head , neck flat on ground in front of it. because head , neck lightly colored, blend in color of soil. distance, looks ostrich has buried head in sand, because body visible.
