IPod won't load app (clash of clans). Help!?

reason, ipod not load app @ school. keeps giving me message, "unable connect server. check internet connection , try again." here's thing: have internet connection, , it's strong one. of other apps require wifi work here. it's 1 game. game works everywhere else, not here! also, play 'hayday' game made same company other game , works here! also, i've deleted app , restarted it. still nothing. dont understand. it's frustrating because obsessed game.
please help!
