Is a prius a bad car? Prius owners?

have 2 of first generation prius in family - smaller, less efficient, many more common problems 2004 , later prius. have been far best , reliable cars wife , have ever had in 40 years together.

edit - mark hardly more wrong. resale value of prius unusually high, when gas prices spike. of year used prius year or 2 old selling more list price of new prius, , had pay way more list new one.

c7s 100% wrong batteries - parts , labor new one, if ever needed, around $2500 (the battery under $1800) , battery expected last life of car. 300k-400k miles estimate of life expectancy. 11 year old first generations have no sign of bettery deterioration, , second/third generation batteries far more reliable first generation. there wealth of misinformation out there people have never had prius.
