Why is carribean ocean clear blue?

light absorption helps color water. sunlight, composed of electromagnetic radiation in colors red blue, scattered particles suspended , vibrating in water. shorter blue wavelengths scatter more , absorbed less rapidly longer red , orange wavelengths. seawater appears blue 100 feet under surface, , becomes black absence of light. in essence, sunlight performs native dance warm , shallow water of caribbean account blue hued sea. blue tones bounce surface making them more visible others.
