Is it safe to use an electric blanket at night on a bed with a memory foam mattress pad?

more wouldn't cause fire, damage memory foam. if memory foam gets hot start dry out , start crumbly , fall apart.

saw many times on sales floor, memory foam beds displayed window in direct sunlight start dry, , fall apart. imagine being stale bread.

far memory foam being temperature sensitive, statement partially true. there different types of memory foams out there. ones made tempur pedic temperature sensitive , respond different temperatures (i.e. stiffen in colder temperatures, , soften in warmer ones). memory foam used other models (icomfort, or ones made sealy) not temperature sensitive.

in all, wouldn't recommend using electric blanket extended period of time on memory foam mattress pad. not because of safety issues, because risk messing memory foam pad.

the mattress pad covered bedding information guide warned highly flammable. electric blanket standard 1 target. flammability respect open flames? has used electric blanket memory foam mattress without issues?
