My moms death certificate has cause of death Unknown?

67 had knee replacement doing except pain , talking husband 30 mins prior dying 2 days after surgery made no sound nothing woke them telling him had leave room , started working on came out 20 mins later saying gone.i came there , noone seemed know happened.she organ donor , thats remember them wanting me talk on phone organs.her doctor told me on phone week later had no idea , couldnt blod clot because did prevent it.and blood clots later in rehab or @ home not in hospital.

my mother went hospital knee replacement , died 2 days later.nobody can seem tell me happened her.they keep saying don`t know.i talked dr , says don`t know , put on death certificate unknown.i need closure , need know happened can now.?
