My daughter has started to call her step-mother Mum. Why? Is it because I have a boyfriend?


daughter 7 , lives father , fiancée (who close friend of mine) in berlin. german, live in london. daughter's father , fiancée both scotland. speak daughter everyday either on phone or on skype. daughter has had step-mother-to-be 1 of the main women in life (the other being me) , has called same nickname of father's family call her, when spoke daughter yesterday, kept on referring mutti (which german mum). shocked this, , not little hurt. spoke father , step-mother-to-be, , said have no idea came from, has been calling time since. believe them completely.

don't understand why daughter has started doing now. has lived @ least half , half step-mother-to-be, , has been living 9 months of year past couple of years. because have boyfriend? have never had boyfriend since born, , told daughter him week ago (we have been seeing each other 4 months). why else doing now? can stop? hurting me.
