How to ask my boss about a pay raise?

i'm piano teacher, 16, , work @ conservatory. paid 9.60 hour student minimum wage here. paid less friends work @ subway -_-. did year , half of training job, plus ten years of piano lessons , i'm getting paid less has less training , far less difficult job me.

second point have friends age teach @ conservatories , paid around 15-20$'s hour! that's third of lesson fees , i'm getting sixth.

that's background of issue , how can confront him , prove point professionally? don't want him mad! feel i'm not getting pay deserve. should confront him , how?'
