What was life like in the 1990's?

- depends on aspects at...but different...but yet somehow similar.

others have said...the internet there (by early-mid 90's), nothing today. had internet got through aol , used 28k or 56k dial-up modem. thing did online sit in chat-rooms. chatrooms 90's equivalent facebook....without pictures, news stories, or apps. online text message board. didn't buy things now...as there weren't many retailers set-up buy online. spend 3 minutes waiting picture of product load...so try imagine doing shopping way. improved massively every year...but thats @ beginning of 90's.

hair bands of 80's dying out grunge bands of 90's. nirvana released it's first album , solidified grunge genre. rap becoming little more mainstream , many of artist "royalty" of today debuting albums. dr. dre , coming rapper didn;t have headphone company. ditty still sean combs , become puff daddy...than p daddy...then p ditty...then ditty.

still played music on mtv...with non-music show or 2 on air. think can credit mtv first "reality tv" show real world.

if had told me in 1994 when got first car paying $4.00 gallon gas...i have laughed @ you. have thought $2.00 gallon pushing it...given $0.90 - $1.20. pack of cigarettes cost me $1.30 - $1.75 , carton run $10 - $12.

whopper, jumbo jack, , big mac under $1.00...and twice big. sodas, however, twice small. "value meal" under $3.00.

first job in '93 paid me $4.25 hr....which price of movie ticket. concessions @ movie more expensive tickets.

teens had pagers...which paid 1 yr front. of friends had there own special code knew paging you. had home phone.

have grown in post-9/11 world...so things walking gate when drop them off @ airport or meeting them come off plane @ gate may seem strange...but thats how was. there no tsa or bomb-sniffing puffer machines or massive lines @ checkpoints.

if wanted buy car...you had skim classified ads or buy auto trader. if looking used anything...they're section newspaper classifieds. craigslist or it, did not exist.

born in 95 remember late 90s vividly!
