Can I Toilet Flapper Valve Be Too Light?


had new toilet flapper valve installed. when flush toilet, flushes twice. turns out water level in tank goes low before flapper valve seals again there's enough water volume going bowl make flush twice.

tried adjusting chain length give more , less slack. there yellow float on chain between valve , toilet handle. tried adjusting location of float , removed it. nothing makes difference.

replacement flapper valve light in weight , can't seal fast enough against weight of water in tank? water level has go bottom of tank before seals. don't want bother getting new flapper valve if same thing.
