What paint colors would compliment the furniture in this student lounge room, and be conducive for relaxing?

renovating upstairs student lounge room in our sorority house painted cringe-inducing shade of peach, , furnished pieces clinton era. we're wanting bring 2013. there spacious common room downstairs congregate livelier social activities, primary purpose room relaxation. many girls use space study in when roommate asleep or being boisterous. few generous parents have purchased or donated furniture room, hasn't been delivered yet. we're going have 94 inch gray couch on wall, 2 matching love seats (66 inch couches) facing 1 on side walls, , couple of deep turquoise armchairs, there ample seating room. on side walls we'll displaying artwork , photography girls in house. we're not sure wall above larger couch yet, have few pieces of art hung there. our budget rest of accessories , paint small (like under $200). put idea board on polyvore decorative pillows spotted @ target , few other decor pieces. i'll put link in additional details below since including in main question cause not post properly.

main decision paint color choose. there 1 small window in room, have mindful of lack of natural light. gray trendy right now, , soothing in lighter shades, since couches gray might make room seem monochromatic. vibrant, saturated color turquoise pretty bold space. since we're wanting more serene vibe, red wouldn't ideal. other colors aesthetically appealing?
