Indians are supposed to be kind religious people..why there are so many scammers cheat and rip off tourists?


know indians devout, religious people. people believe in religions nice, kind , generous. foreign tourists (from uk, us, china, france, japan etc) complain harassed, cheated , ripped off local scammers, taxi drivers , shop owners. there's warning travel guide book lonely planet goes along line "a trip india isn't complete without being ripped off , harassed vendors".

can't believe why indians, of people, such deplorable things? because lot of indians still in abject poverty..so hope rich ripping off rich foreign tourists? let me know..
