What are the qualifications to become a boat mechanic?


have been boat mechanic 12 years now. got summer job did at. wasn't because knew it, because knew nothing it. work ethic , ability ask questions got me today.

don't lazy, don't think know everything. there lot of shops out there looking help. mechanics hard find.

edit add: there schools out there can teach need know. mmi best known looking for. imagine pretty of graduates have job done. in order go product specific tech schools (mercury, volvo, yamaha, etc) need work dealership. why saying getting "low man on totem pole" job , proving have work ethic cheapest place start.
