Can teaching a baby/child multiple languages, delay their speech?

parent our child have education, & them smart. have son 1 yr. downloaded same videos in english, french, german, italian, japanese, polish, indonesian, & spanish. play videos on loop, , let him watch them every day. can’t watch them everyday bc time consuming (it’s note worthy don't make him watch them, play videos play pen , if wants pay attention can; or if prefers play or around can so. not strap him down , force him in way watch vids). play audio books in foreign languages him while in car or @ store...but if complains after awhile whatever reason, ill turn off.

spouse not agree. it’s overwhelming him learn much, said; therapist agrees him , delay speech. not agree theory, i'm not positive don't think proven fact. know people in europe multilingual, told bc cartoons in different languages, & through practice of others...so pick easy. start out video's, flash cards, , practice in home, wouldn't able keep child in theory bc surpass me in progressing knowledge. nobody born know language has taught. have read articles of ppl learning multiple languages in 40s or older , have 2 personal friends 45ish husband , wife both learning servo-croatian together. theoretically speaking when child becomes advanced in language, know people can practice language , teach him progress farther in languages in person or via skype @ no cost time. believe parents , education system or world, dumbs down saying “it’s hard”, “that’s much”, “it can’t done” putting doubt our heads, & give on trying or putting in effort. humans capable of more or know can far... fact! family & speak spanish, spouse fluent in russian, sister's husband born , lives in germany, know 100 ppl in chicago speak japanese, polish, chinese, french, & 25-50 ppl in cali speak italian. make interesting him learn not chore, loves video's gets happy when come on , dances music in languages... smile , encourage him approval, , happy when sign teach him new things.
