Going to Uni in Scotland - applying to SAAS - parents no income - help?


brother going university next academic year (2013 – 2014) in scotland. apply saas.
wants paid tuition fees, take out ysb, , student loan. believe tuition fees , ysb easy him apply think having problems applying student loan because our parents don’t have jobs. means our parents have no income , living off personal savings.
scared might not student loan part cannot state/prove our parent’s income easily… can on application form parents have no income. saas accept or require proof?
help. advice needed. don’t know related this…
