How harsh is the weather in Boston during the winter?

if you're used alaska winters, boston isn't bad. if you're used miami, it's brutal.

cold weather gets serious around mid-december. january , february cold months (typical day in 20s). now, march sun higher in sky , days little warmer, snow doesn't hang around long.
