Should I get laser surgery? (extreme astigmatism + hyperopia)?

hello everyone,

have severe astigmatism in combination hyperopia , considering have eye laser surgery. here measurements:

2008
left: +2.25sph -4.5cyl
right: +1.75sph -4.25cyl

2012
left: +3.25sph -4.75cyl
right: +2.75sph -4.25cyl

current glasses:
left: +2.0sph -4.25cyl
right: +1.75sph -3.75cyl

had sizable astigmatism birth, has gradually increased, in last 5 years or so. 23 year old male.

have spent lot of time in front of computer. vision has gotten bad have terrible eye strain after few hours of focusing on computer screen. so can no longer work or continue education in profession (it).

have strong glasses give me acceptable image sharpness, eyes never seem relaxed , seem fighting focus. left eye gets more eyestrain right eye.

had pre-op checkup @ 1 lasik clinic , told me can candidate lasik , have thick cornea.

online investigation tells me on right on limit of what's approved fda particular laser machine have in clinic - not reassuring.

believe difficult case laser surgery, don't see alternatives, stronger glasses make eyestrain worse.

should getting laser surgery (lasik or other kind)? problems/complication case?

has here similar eye condition had laser surgery, how did turn out?
