How are wind turbines better as a fuel compared to fossil fuels?

not better economically , no better environmentally unless take operation of wind turbine account (which foolish). wind not "free" more water "free" or oil "free". sources of energy need profit motive in order harnessed , developed public mass uses. grocery store handing out free bottles of water last week , missed it? water sells @ higher price oil! water use , treatment levy on municipal tax bill error? maybe should try not pay it...lol

oil naturally occuring substance (as coal or natural gas) why not "free" ?? oh, that's right, takes $billions extract , process it...hmmmm...i wonder if cost money harness , transport wind? answer is....yes...three times more cost of fossil fuels. wonder pay that...answer ...only very wealthy , if poor subsidize through transmission feees , fossil fuel consumption days when wind not blow! may not have thought it, there no ways store large amounts of generated electricity use @ later time out consumption , supply patterns. electicity generated, gets wasted!

there reason major enrgy companies did not pursue alternative energies in large volume....the research showed did not work on economic basis.
