Reflection and Refraction?

light when passing 1 medium gets tilted.you may observe inserting or dipping small rod in water.observe rod ast waters edge.this tilting of direction called refraction.light reflected mirror called refection.refraction change in direction of wave due change in medium. surface phenomenon. phenomenon in governance law of conservation of energy , momentum. due change of medium, phase velocity of wave changed frequency remains constant. commonly observed when wave passes 1 medium @ angle other 90° or 0°. refraction of light commonly observed phenomenon, type of wave can refract when interacts medium, example when sound waves pass 1 medium or when water waves move water of different depth. refraction described snell's law, states given pair of media , wave single frequency, ratio of sines of angle of incidence θ1 , angle of refraction θ2 equivalent ratio of phase velocities (v1 / v2) in 2 media, or equivalently, opposite ratio of indices of refraction (n2 / n1):

i don't understand reflection , refraction can explain me. because doesn't seem in of revision guides or websites. can please explain me appreciate :)
