Learning how to draw the human body? Tips?

started drawing last year around february - march. @ first, started drawing anime/manga style. but, few months later, started getting semi-realism. practiced drawing heads year (now). now, think it, want 'head start' drawing human bodies. unfortunately, cannot take classes right now. though, might take drawing media in junior year in high school (i'm going freshman year). i'm 13 right , want art seriously. i'm thinking of having career drawing. c: anyway, things can me drawing bodies? have book called "the ultimate book of drawing" barrington barber mom had bought me. has lot of references of human body , such. but, doesn't explain how draw nor have lot of tips. things can on own me better @ drawing , understanding human body? like, should sketch out hands , bodies in different poses?
