How to rid the house of ants?!?


there ants in our house (in share parents , brother) absolutely everywhere. first started in bag (have no idea why, didn't have food in there or anything), , whole bunch of them started creeping walls , wardrobes, , appear in bathroom! have no idea why, , keep room , bathroom clean - makes no sense! popping out of on laptop - have keep squeeshing them dead… how rid of ant problem?! it's becoming real nuisance - don't know have come from...
