Tips on driving a '79 Pontiac Trans Am?

16 year old junior in high school, , getting license wednesday. getting part-time job pay gas , of great stuff (darn trans going eat wallet) , going to, @ least part of time, driving trans am. have bandit edition black gold eagle. has t-tops well. car amazing. looks beautiful! when have practiced driving it, has handled , been fun.

first car, know trans isn't reasonable. gas mileage poor, , it's sports car. however, lot of time driving dodge mini-van 2000's. live in mountains of north carolina, don't want taking trans out in except dry weather. reason won't drive van full time when do, leaves dad driving dodge ram, going strain parents' wallets further gas.

more responsible person many other people age. not going going full throttle or trying show off new car or doing stupid stuff. going try , go easy on , save on gas can. want keep thing safe.
