Will 70 psi tires make my cruiser faster?

in perfect world, roads smooth glass. , max out pressure in tires lower rolling resistance & faster speeds.

it's not perfect world. roads filled bumps, potholes, ruts, etc. bike may perform fine pressure maxed out. may not. ride rough @ max air pressure. experimentation key. start @ or near max pressure & see. if rides rough, drop pound or 2 out @ time.

@ max pressure & light rider, bike tires can lose contact road brief period of time on bumps & through potholes.

got eye on michelin country rock tires because they're 73 psi max. higher pressure tires me max out nexus 7 on schwinn phantom replica frame (with way-cool springer fork)?
