Could this have cause my cockatiel to die?


tonight pet cockatiel (half-pint) died unexpected. thinking on family , me haven't heard chirp, or play toys, in day or two. have dog doesn't along didn't fly around, stayed in 3ft 2ft cage. had lots of room. @ least 12 years old 15 years old. had cage our old tv cabinet old 26 in tv. got big flat screen tv big our tv cabinet was, it's close cage. reason died? if not be? , if sickness harmful our other animals?
