hi,i on way becoming , airline pilot , i'm scotland. there many routes choose job first officer @ airline , let me tell routes highly expensive. need obtain ppl (private pilots licence) 45 hours flying time + 7 exams, cpl (commercial pilots licence) 60 hours think, instrument rating, multi- engine rating , type rating on chosen aircraft. of set £50,000 upwards. route go 1 of flight schools such oxford aviation academy or ctc wings offer airline schemes jobs @ end of training. although scheme may seem enticing double price of normal flying clubs charge. if accepted flight school required pay training through monthly installments of £5,000 either through own money or bank loan scheme offer ( 10 years pay loan back). if choose wisely might not have job @ end of flight school , stuck £80,000 + pay back.
