polymer clays require heat or uv light harden.
don't have heat (or uv light) "oven," equipment or situation provides heat (or uv light).
curing/hardening/polymerization of polymer clays, temperature , time interdependent though too, small amount of heat *eventually* harden clay (or leaving on sunny windowsill long time harden).
dry heat (as happens in oven) can created in various ways , various kinds of equipment, wet heat works polymer clay can boiled (on stovetop or in microwave, in water) though may take bit longer since temp won't go above boiling.
dry heat *can* created in pot on stove, kind of fiddly.
