I've been thinking about leaving acting because a classmate made a comment that made me cry? What to do?

i'm 21 , student actress. i'm beginner @ acting. didn't start acting until 19 years old parents didn't agree had wait until 18 that's when started trying pursue dreams. honest i'm not acting fortune , fame great, that's not me. act because i'm trying find myself, act because don't routine, act because different , exciting things , grow human being become less shy , creative. find creativity within myself. .i think fun read scripts , try , try become different characters.

however, have reached disturbing road block in journey becoming actress. currently, taking acting auditioning class in college students split in teams. 1 team auditions while other team watches auditions , takes notes , suppose give constructive criticism! arrangement, has come point student in class making personal un constructive remarks feel out of line actor , geared towards me person not towards acting. first mock audition of comments said lacked confidence ( agreed cause nervous) there comment in particular stabbed me chest said had no personality , acting wasn't good. tried improve second time 2nd mock auditions , ppl said appeared more confident time , did differently, same person wrote had no personality made vocal comment in class felt geared towards me personally, didn't name. said, ppl tried have stronger intro last time , tried ppl them , made them come off not genuine. dont think quoted right word word, tone , way said person fake , never want work them. comment hurtful causing me cry , become depressed , discouraged. shy person , working hard @ becoming more outgoing. reason saying cause i'm person wrote on acting scorecard , of ppl in audition group knows personally. there clique in class , have tried socialize everyone, don't seem want bother me. plus feel i'm being singled out else.

do? know world of acting cutthroat business , getting me how class being run because criticism not constructive , not helping me. it's hurting me!
