no, not compatible qr codes.

it's linear scanner, meaning can read in 1 direction ("linear").

qr codes part of family of barcodes called 2-dimensional barcodes requires scanner reads up-down , side-to-side or 1 takes image of barcode , decodes image; smartphone barcode reader apps do.
